Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

I’m not sure where to begin, but I strongly encourage anyone considering a role here to read this review and others as a serious warning. Working at this organization was one of the most stressful experiences of my career, driven by systemic issues that stem from senior leadership. Decision-making and priorities are highly unpredictable and appear to fluctuate based on leadership preferences, which makes it extremely difficult to plan or do sustained, strategic work. Micromanagement is common, expectations are often unclear, and there is little tolerance for differing perspectives or learning curves. Terminations can feel sudden, which creates ongoing anxiety and instability across teams and negatively impacts morale and long-term planning. Work-life balance is very poor. Long workdays are the norm, PTO is strongly discouraged, and even when time off is taken, employees are often expected to remain fully available for calls, meetings, and messages. Burnout is widespread, and many colleagues I worked with were actively seeking other opportunities. My experience working with senior leadership in PR and Communications was also extremely challenging. Interactions were frequently demoralizing, feedback was delivered in a way that felt personal rather than constructive, and recognition for team contributions was inconsistent. This made collaboration difficult and added unnecessary stress to an already demanding environment. The marketing organization is significantly understaffed, with multiple key roles left unfilled for extended periods of time (including demand generation, product marketing, marketing operations, and B2B roles). As a result, employees are routinely expected to perform the work of several positions at once, which makes sustainable progress nearly impossible. If you take one thing away from this review, let it be this: please seriously reconsider employment with Keeper Security. While the job market can be difficult, the level of stress, burnout, and instability I experienced here was far worse.

Keeper Security Response

We respectfully but strongly disagree with the characterization presented, as it does not accurately reflect Keeper Security, our leadership or our workplace culture. Many of the statements and conclusions in this review are factually incorrect. Keeper operates with clear priorities, high standards and a leadership team that is deeply engaged in supporting teams and driving long-term success. While the work can be fast-paced and demanding, as is common in high-growth cybersecurity companies, we do not discourage PTO, expect employees to be “always on” or tolerate the conditions described here. Our marketing and communications organizations are intentionally structured and actively supported, with ongoing investments in talent, resources and leadership. We are proud of the teams we’ve built and the professionals who continue to grow their careers at Keeper. We remain confident in our leadership, culture and direction, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the record for future candidates.

Cons

Not much to complain about. If you’re not used to entrepreneurial, fluid environments, it will not be for you.

Pros

The team members were one of the best parts of working here. They were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help each other. Many of my coworkers genuinely cared about doing great work and creating a positive experience for customers.

Cons

Unfortunately, the work environment created by management was the complete opposite. There was a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inconsistent leadership. Managers often created unnecessary stress rather than supporting employees, and concerns raised by staff were frequently ignored. I also witnessed and experienced behavior that felt intimidating and, at times, crossed the line into harassment. Instead of addressing these issues, management often dismissed them or failed to take appropriate action. This created a toxic culture where employees felt uncomfortable speaking up and morale suffered.
