KWD is fantastic design firm and great place to learn. The team is incredibly connected and tight knit. Since working for the firm I have learned so much about the interior design world and have been exposed to some of the most beautiful homes in San Francisco. From a marketing perspective, KWD is a prominent firm in the industry and with that comes plenty of perks.

The industry can be cut throat and you must be able to stay a few steps ahead to be successful. Organization is key. Many meetings and high expectations for strong performance.

Staff are nice and her shop is in a good location

Kendall takes full advantage of her employees by making them work a tremendous level of overtime. She lashed out at a pregnant employee and forced her to resign. Then she told us to keep our mouths shut about what had happened as it’s bad for business. A little later, she let go of front desk staff and we were asked to take trash out every night and clean the office. She sets up meetings at lunch-time, orders food for herself only and her staff are subject to watch her eat on an empty stomach. Additionally, she has cameras all over the office. Also, she pays a third party to remove negative reviews about her company.
