Too many to list. Everyone is overworked and underpayed. Power and control is a big issue here, associates get no say and are treated as disposable. I was told by the co-Director of the department that I was "never asked to build relationships with the kids" when I complained that I was being given twice the class load as my colleagues in the same position with no compensation. If they don't like you, you're as good as gone. HR sides with the Director so all of her actions go unchecked. They have lost almost their whole work force this year due to how horrible of a place this is to work. They have now made it a protocol not to give anyone exit interviews and have been making people leave the day that they submit their 2 weeks notice. They take advantage of their employees and work them to the bone with no benefits or compensation or even appreciation. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They will tell you "all nonprofits are like this" but that's a lie to keep workers complacent.
