Pay is not the greatest. Long hours at times

Working with the public gives the employee interactions with quite a diverse group which keeps the job interesting. Newer courthouse is a pleasant working environment.

For part-time employees, there is not a lot of flexibility with hours. Also, it is frustrating to work in an environment where your ability to get a raise depends only on your length of employment not your ability.
