Pros

The people here really know the ins and outs of patent law and do high quality work. It's a place where you can learn from the best.

Cons

Getting staffed on good cases can take effort and persistence. It's important to build relationships with the partners who have work to give out.

Pros

There are some really good people here. They use a 35 hour work week which is really nice. The schedules vary and some people start much earlier in the day and some stay much later but working from 8:30 to 4:30 is really nice.

Cons

The firm seems to be in a constant state of turmoil with people coming and going like there was a revolving door. Very often there is no announcement or explanation - people are just gone. This leads to lots of gossip and speculation and none of it is ever good. The quest to cut costs has led to a never-ending round of benefit cuts. The benefits are still ok but anyone who has been there a while will tell you that it isn't what it was.
