Pros
Meritocracy. Not just based on tenure. Successful project execution leads to more responsibility, faster promotions and better bonuses. Lots of responsibility. You get to own a piece of the project and manage junior staff. Opportunity to work closely with senior executives around the world. I have worked with C-level executives already.
Cons
Very demanding work culture. It is not a 9-5 culture. Work days are long. At times the India office feels like an outpost. India has only one Senior Partner. However, the India teams do get to serve their own clients directly. But overall, a great experience!
