Pros

Traveling up and down So Cal, mostly LA, but don’t expect regular hotels, it’s all Motel 6 and Motel 8 all the way, some of them were really sketchy at night.

Cons

Working condition, they didn’t provide you a lot of proper safety equipment since you’re standing for a long period of time, but they will have the cutting table lower than your waist, so for a long time you my develop back pain and other issue related Secondly would be cleanliness, they use left over vegetable oil from previous show for the next one since they constantly putting out new roadshow. Thirdly, they made you pay for your own gas then have you take pictures and get reimbursed, the process was slow, sometimes they skipped and missed your payments, when you reminded them, they said yes, then ignored it, they still owed me gas money which dated back in 2019, never heard from it again. Finally, they hired friends and relatives to run their business, if you’re not Armenians, you can’t understand what they were communicating amongst themselves, sometimes they said bad things about you.

Pros Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding our motel accommodations. We strive to maintain high standards across all our locations; however, we recognize that experiences may vary. It is indeed challenging to determine which locations may be safer than others, as conditions can fluctuate. Please be assured that the safety and well-being of our employees and guests remain our top priority. In the event of any unsafe situation, we have protocols in place to promptly address the issue, including relocating employees to alternative motels that meet our safety criteria. 😊 Cons Response: **We use tables used by the entire industry. They are all the standard 30" high. For those who are taller we do provide table intentions. 😊 Secondly would be cleanliness, they use left over vegetable oil from previous show for the next one since they constantly putting out new roadshow. **The oil we use has a 12-month shelf life once opened. We pour only what's needed to heat samples. No point in discarding the fresh unused oil in the jar. 😊 Thirdly, they made you pay for your own gas then have you take pictures and get reimbursed, the process was slow, sometimes they skipped and missed your payments, when you reminded them, they said yes, then ignored it, they still owed me gas money which dated back in 2019, never heard from it again. **On the event that a staff members drove to work; they are always reimbursed for fuel. 😊 Finally, they hired friends and relatives to run their business, if you’re not Armenians, you can’t understand what they were communicating amongst themselves, sometimes they said bad things about you. **We are a family-owned business for over 75 years. We also take pride in having a diversified staff from all backgrounds. 😊 Advice to Management Response: I am writing to formally address and clarify our company's position regarding legal matters related to employment. We want to assure you that any lawsuit brought before us has been immediately resolved in our favor. This outcome underscores our strict adherence to all employment laws and regulations. Please be assured that we do not break any employment laws, and we continuously strive to maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical practices in all our operations. Our commitment to fair and lawful treatment of all employees remains unwavering. 😊 **We appreciate any and all input from current and past employees. 😊

Pros

It's some sort of income.

Cons

Feels like it's just a pressured slave working for $400 a week. There is such a heavy and rushed sense of labor in setting up one's booth the night before demo events, and there is just so much (too much!) merchandise to unpack and set up. It's really a back-breaking job for, what I would say is, not a very good compensation; like minimum wage! And even the sales - there's so much pressure on selling, selling, selling, but like impossible quotas like, reaching 800 in a day, to which I'm like, how?!!? This is almost an all-week job. It's just horrendous. I would never recommend this job to anyone, and you'll feel underappreciated. And it's strange that they do not have direct deposit; forcing one to drive all the way to the office on one's day off just to pick one's checks up. Unfortunately, this position just offers a lot of cons. There is not a sense of recognition for initial efforts made in the beginning, that would boost the employee morale to do better and be able to sell more. Management just doesn't seem very honest.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience was so challenging and that you felt undervalued during your time with us. We understand the work can be physically demanding, especially during event setups, and we appreciate the effort that goes into those long days. Since then, we’ve made improvements to both our operations and communication practices, including exploring more efficient scheduling, lighter booth setups, and additional support for our team members. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding direct deposit and recognition programs — feedback like yours helps us continue making positive changes. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors. 😊
