Pros

- Get experience with a wide variety of projects, much more experience than you would get in the same amount of time in other companies - Work with talented, friendly, fun people - Great location in the Federal Hill neighborhood, great office in former theater - Employee owned - Good values, applied to both their employees and their clients

Cons

- By working in a service/consulting business, the tradeoff that comes with the pro I mentioned above of the project variety, is that you don't get quite the same type of ownership you MIGHT get by working in a company developing its own products. That said, it's still a good experience. - Working in a company of this type, although you definitely gain experience, skills, and capability that set you up well for the future, there isn't necessarily the traditional "ladder" to climb, so it depends what you want. It's more a place where you love what you do and get paid for doing something you love, (rinse and repeat). And similarly, there isn't necessarily the kind of financial "lottery ticket" you might get if you entered in a startup at ground level that might experience explosive growth - again it's just not that kind of model. Again, it's all down to your priorities and what you like. All this is an oversimplification because Key Tech does also develop some of their own products, it's just not the lion's share of what they do.
