Pros
It is a stepping stone to gain some experience working in a family owned business. There are some genuinely great people who work here.
Cons
The family who owns the company are out of touch with realistic expectations for processes and pose a very toxic work culture: strong nepotism for friends and family within the company, unfairly imposing rules for some but not others as the saying goes "rules for thee, none for me", poor work/life ratio, verbally disrespectful to employees, lack of transparency, micromanagement to the point that makes employees feel they are not trusted, lack of any self accountability in situations, they are quick to be disciplinary rather than making teaching moments for younger employees who are learning. This business seems to offer a small bit of growth but soon hits a dead end. Would not recommend.
