Pros
The kids you work with are great
Cons
Little to no support, awful benefits with no 401k match and you can’t even afford to put money into a retirement account with what they pay. Management sits up front, watching cameras and talking badly about staff and children/families. Not very professional and only care about how many kids they can shove in a room to make money. Teachers are often left over state ratios with no help, even if you call up front. They expect you to have multiple lesson plans for every day and you’re lucky to get an hour a week to plan with the one laptop they have for staff. They have none of the books or materials needed in the lesson plan books from corporate. The environment is always stressful and you are overworked and underpaid.
