Pros
The McCurdy family is actively involved in the business and they take the time to get to know each associate by name. They listen to feedback and encourage internal departments to support each other. The company has never had any layoffs which was important to me for job stability. My department has growth opportunities with transparent job descriptions and goals. My manager is flexible with my remote work schedule.
Cons
There are clear differences in department cultures. Some departments are required to work in the office while others can work remotely. The company is working on diversity and inclusion projects, but our industry is male dominated. The corporate office has an even makeup, but our sales force is predominantly men.
