      Pros

      There are many pros to working for this company. The top five to me include 1) integrity in the senior management which runs throughout the company, 2) a lot of one-on-one training opportunities for all jobs at Kimberlite, which leads into 3) lots of opprotunity for growth and development (both professionally and personally), 4) Kimberlite is 100% employee owned and the company contributes 100% into our ESOP retirement plan, and 5) There are a lot of FUN people here!

      Cons

      With 7 offices (Fresno, Manteca, San Francisco, San Leandro, Martinez, Bakersfield and NW LA) it is a challenge to get to know everyone personally. Some of us have to drive a lot between the office locations for business purposes.

      Pros

      Great training- I have been able to work with all departments in the company to get a better understanding of how the company functions. I've shadowed the operators in Central Station, service technicians, operation managers, costumer service representatives and have been able to meet amazing employees! Flexible- They are very flexible with my summer school schedule, while ensuring I have a steady work schedule. Innovative company- Constantly looking for ways to improve! Room for growth- many employees started working for Sonitrol several years ago and have worked their way up into senior management; General manager, Operation manager, CEO etc. NO GLASS CEILING HERE!
