Pros

It used to be the best place work but once the founder of the company died it started going down hill immediately.

Cons

If you worked there longer than 10 years you probably don't work there anymore. After massive layoffs with a clear pattern of original employees from the early days when Kimray was great. They want employees to be loyal to them but the loyalty will only be returned if you are a younger, newer employee. They call it the(New Kimray). Anyone with memories of the way it used to be are now gone. The company is a sinking ship. Don't bother climbing aboard. There just staying afloat long enough for the bigwigs to get in there golden lifeboats.

Pros

Great company with great people who are ready to teach their interns tons of skills they can use full-time, along with projects that can really make a difference in the company after their time as an intern.

Cons

It was a bit hard to stay busy as an intern at times, especially after done with a big project and looking for something new to do.

Pros

You get to work, I guess.

Cons

Disrespectful of employee's time, terrible training protocol, no real support system for technician and warehouse staff, seniority applies in all instances. HR is widely uncaring about any staff issues. Refusal to buy new tools or fix old ones, taking months or years to replace equipment. No clothing or boot allowance after first uniform, even in a dirty, dangerous environment. Warehouse and shop are not air conditioned, even in 110+ Houston heat, and little is done to improve the situation. Company is on its way to going belly-up, currently cutting staff. No opportunity for advancement, you are hired to do one thing and one thing only. Pay rise does not match rate of inflation and currently pays below industry standard for jobs worked.
