Pros
The people! There's a lot of comfort between teams and departments, which leads to a better working environment overall. Low-level management clearly strives to understand what is needed and initiatives like the hackathon promote innovation in many areas. There's a lot of flexibility for maintaining a good work/life balance. Flexible vacation rather than a set amount of time is almost unheard of elsewhere and a great perk. Occasionally working from home is common and accepted as needed, as well.
Cons
The same degree of autonomy and trust from executives to employees that I've seen at other tech companies in the area is not always given at Kinaxis. The salary ranges are determined based on field experience as well as supply-chain knowledge. While an asset in some ways, this reliance on knowing supply-chain when you're working on UI, code, documentation, or testing tends to skew the salaries downward compared to other similar jobs in the industry.
