Pros
Many of the teachers love the kids. Building looks nice. Access to good phonics curriculum. Many directors have good hearts and are in the profession bc they love kids.
Cons
Teachers are stretched thin, and ratios are not always maintained. Kids are shuffled around to have the least amount of staff on duty for sake of saving money on hours. Pay isn't good enough for the demand of time for directors and asst director. A lot of turn over. Curriculum is not enforced. Parents pay for specials but due to "hours" restrictions of staff many students do not get their specials
