Pros
Amazing doctors.
The Founder is a good person, he listens to his employees, and protects his employees from verbally abusive parents, always steps in appropriately.
The head nurse is extremely supportive of her nurses and advocates for their benefits, vacations, and their work rights. She is flexible and very understanding, although she’s in a management position, she never hesitates to step in, measure, vaccinate, and support the team.
The team of nurses are supportive, worked well together, and overall amazing people.
Great opportunity to be in a specialty to assist doctors and learn so much. i.e. pediatric gynecology, endocrinology, dermatology, etc.
Cons
Not for nurses who want a sitting job or work remotely, it’s very fast paced and you need to keep up and be aware of who is in each room and what is happening in each room, it’s a large facility with a high turnover rate and multiple doctors working each day.
You need to be agile with vaccine administration and sometimes parents or children can be difficult to manage, you will need patience and the ability to build trust with the children and parents.
