Pros

I was part of an acquisition and was worried about working for a “chain” again. Everyone at Kindred has been so supportive and welcoming. I feel empowered to do my job and really apart of the big little family.

Cons

Nothing at this time I can think of.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. It really means a lot to us to hear how positive your experience at Kindred has been. We’re so pleased that you’re enjoying the different activities, recognition, and opportunities we try to create for our teams. It’s great to know these are making a difference and helping you feel valued. Hearing that you feel supported by management and connected to other teams is especially important to us. We genuinely want Kindred to feel like a place where people enjoy coming to work and feel part of something supportive and encouraging. Thank you again for your kind words and for recommending us, it truly means a lot. We’re really glad to have you as part of the Kindred family.

Pros

Those infrequent quality interactions with children.

Cons

Since Kindred acquired our nursery things have seriously gone downhill. The quality of staff being employed raises serious questions over management's process of acquiring staff & highlights their desperation to fill vacancies. It's more about numbers than who's actually being employed. When poor quality staff are employed, those who interviewed them are blamed for their poor practice. Staff are incredibly over-worked with increasing workloads when current workloads are already unattainable. Management attitudes towards staff is often very poor and border onto bullying, with select staff regularly targeted. Staff are often treated as punching bags and are drawn into management's culture of gossiping and badmouthing. There is little respect across the whole setting and staff morale is incredibly low. Staff feel undervalued as a result of the working environment and low appreciation from management. Staff dread management coming into their room as it is almost always to deliver a negative or to gossip. Management have lost touch with what it's like to work in the rooms and show a deeply poor understanding of current working environments and stresses.
