We are concerned to read your comments and feel it is important to address a number of statements that we believe are factually incorrect, particularly in relation to pay and legal compliance.
Kinect Services operates in full compliance with UK employment law and HMRC requirements. Pay is not unlawfully withheld. As outlined within our contractual terms, employees are paid for the time spent undertaking work duties.
In addition, route hours are calculated using structured and transparent methods. This includes the time service users are on the vehicle, alongside additional paid travel time between stops where applicable, based on operational data such as live traffic and vehicle tracking. This approach ensures consistency and fairness across our workforce.
We also strongly refute the suggestion that employees are required or pressured to submit positive reviews. This is not a practice we engage in.
We recognise that our roles can be demanding, particularly within transport services, and we continue to review pay structures, benefits, and working practices in line with the sector and local authority funding constraints.
That said, we take all feedback seriously. If you have experienced specific concerns, particularly relating to pay, we welcome the opportunity to review this with you directly, as issues can often be clarified quickly when raised through the appropriate channels.
