Pros

I have truly enjoyed my time at King Living so far. The company genuinely cares about its employees, offering competitive wages and benefits. I also love the furniture I sell—it brings something fresh and innovative to the Chicago market. I get excited to showcase our products to clients and always enjoy seeing their reactions. Our team of design consultants has been carefully selected to embody the best qualities of King. With a diverse range of skills, we create a strong team that offers expertise across various aspects of design and functionality.

Cons

The main challenge is that, since our home office is based in Australia, communication can sometimes be difficult from the U.S.

Pros

Working at King Living has been an incredibly rewarding experience. With 10 years of retail experience, it’s refreshing to work for a brand that truly honors the client experience, something I’ve seen firsthand at King Living. The company’s core values—Collaboration, Innovation, Integrity, and Passion—are not just words, but principles that guide every client interaction. At King, the focus is on showcasing the product and introducing our clients to the unique qualities that set our furniture apart. It’s exciting to be part of a team that is so dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience. King Living also rewards its team members with both team dinners and performance-based bonuses, creating a positive and motivating environment. Achieving sales targets not only provides a bump in pay but also an opportunity to bond with your team. The benefits offered by King are exceptionally generous, including a 5% 401(k) match and outstanding healthcare coverage. The company’s “People First” philosophy is more than just a slogan; it’s a genuine practice that makes everyone feel valued. I’m truly grateful to be part of the King Living family, introducing something special to our clients. Our products are designed to grow with the customer—whether through modular additions, customizable covers, or adaptable pieces that suit different lifestyles and design preferences. If you ever have the opportunity to work for this brand, I highly recommend it! King Living is a place where you can thrive, both professionally and personally.

Cons

Home Office is in Australia so there is sometimes a delay in communication and support.
