Pros

Kingcom is a diamond in the rough when it comes to sales companies. I have worked at more than a few, as I have been in sales for several years. Kingcom is a relatively young company, but has made great strides to achieve success. We are about to move into a new building, and the company has done a wonderful job of defining the workforce. When you take the initiative to learn on your own, and work hard (almost treating it as your own business within a business) you can find great success here. As for the responses to lack of commissions, absolutely not true. Hard work pays off here. Whether or not you make money at Kingcom is really dependant on your approach and work ethic. Of all the companies I've worked for, this is the one that actually encourages your success. I have worked at large corporations before, where you just get lost in the mix. Kingcom is small enough that your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. If you are a self motivated individual you can definitely find success here.

Cons

Kingcom tends to have growing pains at times and we definitely have lost some really talented individuals. The challenge of a small company is they cannot afford to pay for underperformance. Although the attendance policy is strict, it does have a purpose. If you where running a business on your own, it doesn't pay to be an absentee owner, just as it doesn't pay to be an absentee employee. The company sometimes struggles with growth due to lack of support from our partnerships. Yet, my approach is no different than that of a business owner struggling to get paid on outstanding invoices. You certainly get paid when the company gets paid. I think there is always room for improvement in our relationships with partners in our sales channel, but for me personally it just represents a measure of extra work and working through the processes to find success for my clients and myself. It takes a bit of extra caution to wade through the support aspect of things in terms of post sale support. This mostly comes from the channel, and Kingcom themselves have little control over this. Again, it isn't a matter of not getting paid, as a lot of these occurances are circumstancial. I find that this is true of any sales job. The goal here is to work hard enough to account for some fallout. The management works hard to ensure partner support, but at times are powerless against the outcome of aforementioned occurances. The negativity that has been previously expressed comes from lack of follow through from the reps themselves. I believe that if there was a more strict policy in terms of accountability, that the company would have an easier time. Again, this is due to our growing pains and the inability to actually find self starters. There are more than a few highly motivated self starters present at the company.

Pros

I've been with the company for nine months now. I've been in many sales roles at very companies and I can confidently say this is the best organization I have been a part of. Ultimately, I enjoy working with my coworkers but I have been very impressed with the leadership team and overall energy of the company. The training provided is the most comprehensive of any organization I have been a part of and I feel truly valued here! The company was voted a top place to work in 2015 and it's easy to see why.

Cons

Hours are touch as most days start around 6am, especially not being a morning person. There is a strong desire to improve and sales pressure to succeed. I'd like to see more development outside of just sales training.
