Pros

Great curb appeal - good location, nice offices and great kitchen. Free lunch once a month accompanied with “Drink the Kool-Aid” power point memes in stereo given by a marionette with a spot light. (not kidding)

Cons

High turnover due to bad internal culture, subpar benefits package and mistrust of upper management. HR department is nonexistent- you will not have access to file a complaint or discuss harassment. “Hard work” is defined as 15-hour days and long weekend email threads. Top heavy business- too many executives brainstorming, too few employees tasked with executing. All of upper management was external recruitment- no internal employees have ever been recruited for upper management positions. All staff is micromanaged in the belief that it’s leadership- this includes senior management and the marionette, aka CEO.

Pros

I love working at Kipu Health because the mission is deeply meaningful. Every day I know my work supports providers who are helping people in behavioral health and addiction recovery. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who care about each other and our customers. It is rewarding to be part of a company that is both growing quickly and making a real impact.

Cons

At times the pace of change can feel overwhelming. The company is growing quickly, which means priorities evolve and not every process is fully defined yet.
