Pros

Excellent place to build a great career with excellent pay, class-a schooling, good healthcare. If anyone's interested in building a career makin' 50+k the first year but can handle some away time...it's the job for you. On paper it's a little over 37k startin' salary but you have options to ride over and all that fun stuff. Great, (and quick, granted you're bustin ass) opportunity for advancement. You canliterally build an entire, 100+k a year career workin' for K I M without a diploma BUT...you'll never be in the wheelhouse wthout one. 18 months on the water, no matter your job title; you'll be in Pilot school for a year & come out makin over 100k a year. Like I said; it's a big change though, on that water, livin' on the boat like it's your first home So be ready for that but most of all you CAN enjoy yourself and stay in shape.

Cons

Too much politics, too much brother-in-law this and that, etc., etc.. Just do your job, bust ass at it 110% you'll be good to stay on your own that way unless politics are your thing. Regardless...it WILL get stressful at time dealin' with OSHA, Coast Guards. blah blah blah!
