Pros
They try to be ahead of the game when it comes to technology. However, switching to iPads for field techs wasn't a good use of money in my opinion--the laptops worked just fine and the iPads aren't very user friendly. I'm sure this place might be great if you're an engineer.
Cons
Management cares about the "multipliers" on their projects above all else because that's the biggest factor that goes into their corporate evaluations. This encourages them to cut labor costs wherever possible, even if it means hiring part-time or flex-time inspectors for cheap and keeping more experienced inspectors at home, not paying people what they're worth, etc. They don't like to invest much in training new-hires, so they send out inexperienced people who don't know what they're doing and it makes the company look bad, not to mention it can be dangerous since we drive around on construction sites. Management can be unprofessional and mentally abusive at times. Pay and benefits are not competitive. There are no annual bonuses like there are at most of their competitors. Turnover is high. Overall, it is a soul-sucking place to work and caused me to become clinically depressed. Leaving was one of the best career and life decisions I have made thus far. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for employment.
