Pros

i love the people I work with, very focused on career planning and growth, mentoring is important here, they work to be progressive and innovative, growing company, encourage interoffice collaboration so you work on projects around the world, the upper management genuinely cares about the company's future and the employees growth, safety is huge here which is nice

Cons

totally dysfunctional, we restructured 3 years ago and its been a constant chaos ever since, their San Diego headquarters is not held accountable for moving anything quickly or for following through with simple AR requests, a few months back they took away straight time over time, the benefits are awful, lame tuition reimbursement and medical care, no 401K, and the ESOP program hasn't paid out in 3 years, they wouldn't even pay for my PG. this year corporate was 6 months late on releasing our goals and so we had no idea what our utilization targets were half way through the year, just overall its frustrating to work here because the company is so inefficient, there's way too much paperwork, and redundant policies that no one follows.

Pros

Gained a lot of experience in the field Thorough onboarding and training Covered a required certification process Will help immensely for my future Overall, friendly and helpful employees

Cons

6:30 a.m. start time was a tough adjustment, but I ultimately got used to it. I did cry at the end of my time there, because I knew I would miss the people.

Pros

- lovely coworkers - some really cool projects since Kleinfelder wins lots of different types of projects! thankfully i had good relationships with the project managers, but peers that don't have a long history don't have enough work flow or don't get to work on projects they want to - very caring boss - flexible work from home policy

Cons

- incredibly repetitive sometimes - inconsistent work and stress related to staying billable - drab and uninspiring workplace energy - lots of non-optional travel - anyone other than my boss and direct peers was not caring - it's all just a bit corporate and no one is really in love with what they're doing - barely got raises consistent with inflation
