Pros

Love the team here, everyone is super helpful and approachable. The culture is genuinely collaborative, which makes diving into complex fintech projects so much easier. You really feel like part of a team that's solving real financial problems together.

Cons

Given the fast-paced nature of fintech, project timelines can move quite quickly. It is definitely a learning curve, but it is just part of delivering impactful results in this industry.

Pros

None. Seriously nothing positive to write.

Cons

Knight Fintech is a classic example of how a company can be stuck in 2012 while pretending to be a modern fintech. The tech stack is painfully outdated they're still using .net framework 4.5 in 2026. Basic CRUD operations are treated like some mission critical, bleeding edge development. There is zero proper project management or architecture planning. Projects are thrown at you with no requirements, no design, no planning, and then management expects you to magically build a plug and play systems that can be used across multiple clients. The architecture is usually garbage, and you're left cleaning up the mess. The CEO has blocked all AI websites (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) citing "safety reasons." In 2026. Let that sink in. We're not even allowed to use basic tools that would 10x our productivity. Work culture is straight-up abusive. No work-life balance whatsoever. You have to be in the office before 11:30 AM otherwise they mark you half-day. Weekend working is normal, all-nighters are common because management keeps giving unrealistic deadlines to clients without any planning or discussion with the development team. There is zero career growth. Developers are treated like code typists. No learning, no upskilling, negligible increments. You will rot here doing the same outdated work for years. HR is completely useless and spineless. They have zero regard for employee well-being.

Pros

I've learned so much here, especially with the hands-on exposure to complex banking APIs and lending systems. It’s been great to see how our work impacts real-world financial products, and there's a very clear path to grow my career. The team is supportive, which makes solving those tricky fintech puzzles a lot more manageable.

Cons

The fintech space is complex, so it can be a bit overwhelming at the start.
