Pros

- Awesome work environment, with most consultants in their late 20's and early to mid-30's - Great cultural diversity, with colleagues from all over the world - lots of learning and exposure, with classroom training combined with on-the-job training on live projects in different parts of the world and mentorship by senior consultants - "Rupee4Rupee" initiative: Finance matchesfunds raised by every consultant as long as its related to a CSR activity as a means of encouraging employee volunteering - Firm actively encourages its consultants to grow career-wise; no ceiling in the number of senior consultants the firm can have - Great research team that actually contributes realistic research reports and influences policies - Digital Financial Services team has a great client base; esp in South Asia (Aircel, LankaTel, CBSL etc)

Cons

- Long working hours at times, with junior consultants working on two or three "high-priority" projects at the same time - AC in the offices is broken, gets awfully hot in the summer (although I hear they are moving from Nariman Point to some swanky new offices somewhere in Lower Parel)

Pros

Worked at the firm till Autumn 2013 when I left for the US to do my MSc. - Great place to work with lots of camaraderie among staff - senior consultants are approachable and keen to help you grow career-wise. Lots and lots of learning to do - the office has a distinct vibe - makes you feel like your always at the brink of a new discovery everytime you walk into office - unbelievable cultural diversity. Can still remember how surprised I was to walk ktn the office on the first day to find people from Africa, Asia and Europe all reporting into a Colombian manager

Cons

- long working hours. The pizza and health breaks help but still, working from 9 to 9 on most days in the week has an effect on your social life - no internship program for those college graduates keen on getting hands-on experience on this new frontier in financial services - the small and niche size of the firm makes it a prime takeover target for large financial firms and even Telcos - resource centre is mainly full of technical resources and periodicals only. Perhaps consider some comics and maybe even a few movies
