Pros

This job is very understanding of personal situations one might have in their life, and they are very good at accommodating schedules. We spend our days watching casino table games; making sure all the rules are being followed, the payouts are correct, and that there is no cheating among the players that come. When there are no tables to watch, we spend time training each other on the games to better ourselves and raise our position. There are frequent pay raises with each game we complete during training, and even though it might take a couple months to fully learn a game, it is worth it. The supervisors/ management are more than willing to help all us employees, and there is no judgment in this environment; everybody helps everybody. The hardest part of the job is probably when the casino is full and busy; games tend to be fast paced, and even though you might be sitting for two hours, watching a game might be mentally tiring. As cliche as this might sound, this job really is a family. We get to know everyone we work with (even the casino dealers), and when there are no players in the casino, we train, hang out, and joke around, . We are also able to have a lot of group outings, ie: holiday parties, breakfasts or dinners a couple times a month, outings to a bowling alley or a karaoke bar, and some of us are even part of servers for videogames. Overall, this job is fun, fast paced, and easy to learn. We value integrity and honesty, and we will welcome you with smiles and laughter the moment you walk through the door.

Cons

Players who get angry (that's part of the casino life), and short breaks.

Pros

Company invests in it's employees. The casino industry is very tough and compared to other companies out there they make an effort to take care of their people and their communities.

Cons

The company as gotten very big and sometimes you get lost in the shuffle. There is still some 'learn as you go' situations but Knighted has really come a long way to develop internal leadership, curriculums and training structures.

Pros

There’s always work to do. If you’re like me and don’t enjoy being idle, that can definitely be a positive. You have some really amazing people that you meet in between.

Cons

Leadership lacks direction and consistency, there’s little to no real accountability, just a pattern of deflection and blame-shifting. Good people often leave due to mismanagement & dysfunction ( & not the good kind).
