Pros

I was contacted/interviewed by Drew Graef and Michele Weisensee-HR after sending my resume through Glassdoor and reading about the company, its culture and direction ( I was very skeptical to say the least, this isnt my first rodeo and have grown weary of companies that over promise and fail to deliver). The process was very relaxed, casual, professional direct and honest. There was discussion around my professional background a complete description of the company and related background-pretty standard. As we identified commonality and alignment we ran through a trial and very basic practice sales call. I am seasoned so not a big deal. Everything went well and moved to the next phase after verifying interest in moving forward. The next phase was a personality test, and a couple of other elements/formats of the test. Everything went well and not uncommon or abnormal. I was told it could take three days for the results and after a tour of the office-which was almost unbelievably filled with extremely happy and enthusiastic people-very impressive and unfortunately uncommon, I left. I left expecting to hear from them after several days. To my surprise I was contacted within an hour by Drew who explained that they were very interested and wanted to not only move forward but would provide an offer within 20 minutes. That was not true-Drew called me within 18 minutes and made the offer. Somewhat surprised and impressed, I promptly accepted for the following reasons: I want to join a group that was focused on legitimately helping companies with their security posture, provide a valuable service, high growth potential, high quality of life/fun environment, and of course ability to make money. Having worked in IT for over 20 years (carrier, pro services, VAR) I have grown weary of companies that are archaic, slow in transformation, and create a poor quality of life-ie chasing a number. Could not have been any better. Period. Oh yeah, their happiness is legit!

Cons

The salary isnt the highest (and can be hard to digest-especially for your ego) but you can map to what you would like to earn annually through the commission structure and based on today' s offerings, existing and new products, services and growth. You can earn it but you will have to work and there is no shame in hard work!

Pros

Great office snacks, free ev charging, cool coworkers

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
