Pros

Benefits are definitely great and competitive. Transparent CEO. Team feeling for the company as a whole. They solicit their benefits a lot in recruiting. Lots of ERG options. Culture was great during the startup but unfortunately it has become a more corporate environment. Some of the employees you meet and relationships you create are awesome.

Cons

It depends what department you are in and who your manager is, as that will determine what benefits you can actually take advantage of, such as their “unlimited time off” policy. Marketing management is chaotic and very poor leadership in place. (Examples of direct experience throughout the years include SVP denying PTO because you’re told you are taking too much time off or “not enough coverage” because they won’t hire support in a timely manner, unprofessional verbal comments, toxic culture and unrealistic demands from management, etc.) Most within the department are overloaded with too much expected from just one employee. Employees within the department are definitely taken advantage of if you do not set boundaries for your own mental health. Growth in marketing directly is turned down without explanation other than “not enough experience” and it may depend who you are personally to management. When issues are told to upper management, nothing is done. Unprofessional connections within the company with upper management that results in special treatment, heads will turn the other with upper management/SVPs who directly violate policy and culture.

Pros

Great office snacks, free ev charging, cool coworkers

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
