Pros

When hired here originally, the bonus system and benefits were so stellar despite the compensation being incredibly low and restrictions on PTO. The culture was incredible and we all enjoyed going into the office, team events, etc

Cons

This company has become so out of touch. Not only was our bonus structure completely torn apart (which has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced bonuses), multiple “fun” benefits taken away, and the culture completely shifted. In the midst of a hurricane, leadership is acting a though we are overreacting despite the fact a storm hit this time last year that killed over 100 people just to the south of us. Not to mention our healthcare costs have skyrocketed, end of month hours are ludicrous, and some of us cannot afford to buy homes with our wage.

Hi Knowster; thank you for your feedback! While all companies have to change with time, we have worked hard to retain the core parts of KnowBe4’s culture that make us unique and a great place to work. While our bonus game has changed, we still have it, and we are currently on track to earn as much as in some previous years. We have also stopped offering some of our least-used benefits, but we were able to reallocate the funds from those benefits to increase our offerings for the benefits employees use the most often (such as our improved health care benefits for this year). Change will be constant, but we will always strive to keep the fun and welcoming spirit that has thus far defined KnowBe4. Feel free to use our anonymous suggestion boxes to provide feedback on how we can continue to do just that! As for the hurricane, we can’t imagine what you are referring to, but sincerely hope you will consider reaching out to our People Operations team to provide more details. Our leadership team was sure to notify employees of updates on the storm, explain emergency procedures, and give employees time to buy supplies, secure their houses, and evacuate the area if needed. The safety of employees is always our number one priority, so if there is anything you think we could have done better as part of our emergency response, we would genuinely appreciate knowing.

Pros

Great office snacks, free ev charging, cool coworkers

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
