Pros

Enjoyed the steady flow of work, the communications via slack are fun, and holiday party at Universal. Office is nice.

Cons

Worst year of my life, felt small and would cry from the stress from my boss and being talked down to at least once a week, for a whole year... Micro-management to the extreme. Constantly being told to refer to such and such procedure or policy if you do anything wrong in the slightest. Was told by my director to "smile more" and be like the other girl in our department, who he once made cry during our team weekly meeting and we had to sit there as he badgered her to explain why/how she made a minor mistake on front of her peers. Passive aggressive robotic emotionless 1 on 1 meetings with this guy every week and the director would constantly focus on things he didn't like and never bothered providing praise for anything he did like. Was told not to interupt while having a conversation on a topic I was already informed on, and was trying to express this, but he didn't let me get a word in. Ended up sending me to get training on how to better communicate and afterward the career coach didn't understand why I was there because we were communicating just fine. Red flags from the very beginning--even after my interview, the HR woman called me a few minutes after and said I got the role and although she assured the team I was probably just nervous, they wanted to know, "Do you normally act like that?"... Who asks that?! Additionally, the director made us tell him exactly when we took lunch and what we ate. Requesting PTO was always uncomfortable and made to feel guilty about it. Eventually, I was let go based on a list of things the director basically didn't like about me and lawyers spammed me for months after with emails accusing me of keeping design files stating I wasn't able to share anything I made during my employment on a future portfolio(which I knew, I signed a doc at hire), despite telling them before I even left that I had kept nothing. I should mention this was all within the "Growth" department, so there was no one I could turn to because they were it. Never have I been made to feel so little, I was mentally wrecked for a long time after the whole ordeal.

We're concerned about your experience suggesting that you felt targeted by a director. Our culture and policies don’t tolerate such behavior. It’s uncommon for an issue like this to go unaddressed — if it had been reported, immediate action would have been taken. We encourage past and present employees to report such experiences to HR so we can investigate and take corrective measures. Your feedback is invaluable for us to ensure a respectful workplace for all.

Pros

Great office snacks, free ev charging, cool coworkers

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
