Pros
As an EIT, you get to work directly with amazing private school clients in the Bay Area. You become the Tech First line of support and are embraced as a positive force of change - getting technology to work for teachers is a great, fulfilling feeling. I really think the mission is a needed one, and many schools love the service. The coaching program offered is top notch. Good industry starting pay, benefits are generous. Knowing has a core of brilliant individuals, including Engineers who take on projects at multiple sites and coaches who help teachers incorporate more Apps, Tech and set goals. Knowing will invest in your professional development as well!
Cons
There seems to be an issue of finding qualified people to stick around long term, but that is part of the selection process - you must be a people person before being tech savy, which is a rare breed.
