Unconscionably Toxic Environment - Engineer Knowledge Capital Associates Employee Review

Pros

The non-management employees are generally lovely people with nowhere else to go.

Cons

The toxicity of this company cannot be understated. From the top leadership down, poor management decisions and complete lack of regard for employees has infected this company like a cancer. This is true of every one of the management staff less one. And you won’t be lucky enough to report to him. The jobs listed are poorly represented; you will always be expected to do more than your job description for no additional pay or benefits, and the starting pay is so laughably out of sync with reality that all they manage to attract are people who need a foot in the door or have nowhere else to go. As you would expect, turnover is near constant. Leadership goes out of their way to be angry little children to former employees, as when you leave for any reason you are seen as the enemy. The owner considers any wages paid to his employees as something he has “given to them” and not as remuneration for your labor. He will always balance you against how much he has “had to pay you”, regardless of how much he takes in from the government contracts over your salary. I cannot imagine a worse environment for a young female than this office. The old boys club mentality is alive and well, and is a disgrace to professionalism. Stay as far away from this company as you can. You will be gaslit and lied to for years while doing far beyond your job description and then be tossed aside as soon as they find someone willing to work for less. How this company is still in business is beyond me.
