Pros

They paid ok The CEO is easy to manipulate Get a chance to have "AI" on your resume

Cons

Where to begin. They keep rebranding themselves in an attempt to try and get some kind of market traction. The ceo thinks he's some self profound AI specialist and cares more about hearing his own opinion vs taking a strategic approach in his company. They have a hire, fire, and blame mentality that has caused a lot of turnover. The joke "sales leader" that was brought in somehow weaseled his way into calling most of the shots in the company, he continues to bring in his network of pros yet they still can't seem to scale the business or get any real traction. How the ceo keeps believing that guy is telling as it seems to keep your role all you have to do is tell how smart and great he is. Unfortunately this is one more startup that's likely to go zombie as they've struggled to get funding. I would think twice about taking a role here.

Pros

Working as an SE at Kognitos has been hugely rewarding because the tech is truly differentiated. It is exciting to demo a product that solves real business problems in ways customers haven’t seen before. The sales engineering team is tight-knit and supportive, and leadership encourages creativity. There is a genuine culture of collaboration between sales, product, marketing, and engineering.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, we are often shaping new use cases as we go. This creates a lot of opportunity to contribute ideas and influence how things are done, but it also means things can change rapidly. For someone who enjoys building and adapting, this can be a positive challenge rather than a drawback.

Pros

Great people, good pay, fun space.

Cons

Great product idea but horrific execution. The product itself is not good, and we could never get it to actually work as intended. Terrible leadership. CEO is a great technologist but not a leader. Has surrounded himself with a bunch of "yes" men. New, grand ideas every week for marketing, sales, product. Could never stay in one lane. CEO thinks AI can fix everything/replace everyone.
