Pros

You can ALWAYS get hours. You might be assigned 10 hours a week but people always drop their shift so you could easily do 30+ hours if you want.

Cons

CREDIT. CREDIT. CREDIT. CREDIT. CREDIT. CREDIT. I ABSOLUTELY HATE HARASSING CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE CREDIT CARDS. Kohl's puts so much pressure on forcing the associates to badger customers to sign up for credit cards. Ive worked at other retail stores and its NEVER been to this extent. THe managers are constantly looking over your shoulder to make sure you ask each customer THREE TIMES for a credit. After 1 month of working here I had to quit because I HATED it so much. You also only get 15 or 20 minute breaks which are not NEARLY enough since you are on your feet the whole shift. Managers only respect the employees that sell credit and treat everyone else badly.

Pros

None. I was hired to be a person that restocks and cleans, they saw I was able to ring up and put me as a cashier.

Cons

Very little pay, terrible training, horrible management and some terrible customers. Disgusting location also, I went to a manager about toilet paper out in the women restroom, he told me it was a morning task. It was 7pm, the store closed at 11pm! Also CASHIERS ARE LYING YO CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM TO OPEN CREDIT CARDS! Shady stuff I heard as a cashier. Also during my interview no one showed up, when I called the manager made it seem like I was bugging her for my interview
