Pros
Great coworkers who are really smart
Cons
Konrad has a serious transparency problem. There’s little honesty or accountability when it comes to layoffs or restructuring, and decisions just seem to happen with no real explanation. HR doesn’t function as an independent department. It’s part of the inner circle that ends up deciding your entire path at the company. Hard work and talent don’t matter nearly as much as fitting in with the right clique—kind of a frat/sorority vibe. A lot of people here are quietly frustrated with how things work but don’t feel comfortable speaking up because they're worried of being on the outs w/management. And the “consulting” projects sound serious on paper, but there’s almost no real research behind them. Most of the time goes into polishing slides, not actual thinking or analysis. The fact that hardly anyone sticks around longer than two years pretty much says it all.
