Easy work, everyone is every nice.

Not super easy to move up

They value "some" women, but not all.

I am a small business owner who has operated successfully for five years providing professional recruiting and HR consulting services. Unfortunately, this is the first time in my career that I have had a client refuse to pay for completed work. I was hired by BrandStar to recruit top talent for their subsidiary companies, Britton Marketing & Design Group and Kreps PR + Marketing. Under our agreement, I sourced, vetted, and delivered two exceptional hires who made a meaningful and immediate impact on their teams. My invoices were submitted promptly and in full alignment with the agreed-upon terms. Despite multiple polite follow-ups via email and phone, I have received no payment and no communication. My invoices are now significantly past due, and I have not been given any explanation or update regarding payment status. As a working mother and small business owner, this situation has placed a real financial and emotional strain on me. I invest deeply in every client’s success, often going above and beyond expectations, and I entered this partnership in good faith based on BrandStar’s reputation and prior relationship with one of their executives. It is incredibly disappointing and unprofessional for a company of this size and visibility to completely ignore financial obligations to a vendor who upheld her end of the agreement.
