Pros

Mission and vision-driven organization. Multi-cultural and diverse team covering all geographies. Full growth phase start-up offering the ability to work on innovative projects with all departments. Fun and exciting to roll up your sleeves, build departments and support the strategy of the company.

Cons

Dispersed team and clients so you need to be comfortable working with different time zones, at times outside conventional windows. Fast-paced environment (like all start-ups that are scaling) so an agile mindset is required.

Pros

Working remote and some nice colleagues

Cons

I was hesitant to post my review of working for KUDO but after seeing the reviews posted, I felt it was necessary to post my opinion. The ‘culture’ at KUDO does not respect boundaries. Being a KUDO employee means you’re exclusively that. If you’re looking for a place of work that recognises that you are a human being in addition to being an employee, then this is not the place for you. You will be praised for working hours and taking on jobs that you are not paid for. I don’t mean the usual expectations of working for a start up/scale up i.e. wearing different hats and occasionally having to work earlier or later or not taking your full lunch hour. It’s beyond that. If you raise concerns about being stretched thin and the lack of appropriate resources to adequately complete a project without burning yourself out, you will be ignored or patronised. If you mention you’re struggling due to personal circumstances, you will not receive the compassion or empathy you’d hope to expect. Also, It’s ironic that the company specialises in providing a multilingual conferencing product to break cultural linguistic barriers but doesn’t adopt a diverse, inclusive workforce.
