Pros

Great benefits! Nice working people on the teams, fun company wide trip.

Cons

Favoritism, a general sense of overall life dissatisfaction from some higher ups, and making references to inside jokes that happened years prior at the company that so many people weren't present for is weird. It's difficult to feel secure or capable when you make a mistake because you will immediately feel the pressure. Rather than treating you as human, it's strike 1. Don't you dare communicate that you need guidance and/or support on something - you're showing your hand.

Pros

- Smart, friendly coworkers - Lots of opportunity because people leave constantly. If you make it 6 months you'll probably be the most experienced person on your team. - Company appears to have money so is relatively stable for a startup

Cons

- By far the most turnover I've ever seen at a company. Part of this is the constant firings done in secret. But it's also from people quitting because of how bad this place is. - Arbitrarily set and unattainable deadlines. Everything is always code red and always urgent. - No work life balance - Platform and product is bad, but there's no time focused to fixing it because we're always pushing new AI slop projects - Negative future outlook for the company. Business is going downhill and the founders are grasping at straws to find something that sticks. - Engineering has a lot of issues, so we re-org to pretend they don't exist. - Leadership perpetuates a negative culture. Employees are afraid to speak up. Expect to be Slack deactivated if you do. - Lack of accountability from management - Low pay for the stress
