Pros

1. Nice health benefits. 2. There's some chance you'll get to work for Facebook, if working for the least popular company on the planet is a pro for you, if the deal actually closes. 3. There are some great people working there, if held hostage by awful management. 4. If you’re a bootlicker, you’ll go far. Office politics is the name of the game.

Cons

1. Culture (especially management) can be toxic. 2. Lack of investment in employees. 3. Petty, clueless and unempathetic management. 4. Facebook deal unlikely in my estimation. Don't count on it. If it doesn't go through, company will hemorrhage talent and is likely finished. 5. Seriously lacking in diversity. POCs kicked to the curb with disturbing frequency. 6. Success here not merit based. 7. Haven't seen a corner they didn't want to cut. Great for efficiency as you shop to be acquired, not great for employees. If you're absolutely desperate, maybe it's worth a go. But really, you can do better. Leadership exploitative, does not reward hard work. "Startup mentality" isn't cutting it at this point.

Pros

Kustomer is full of genuinely kind, smart and hardworking people. We're building fast, but every day is challenging and fun. It's been awhile since I've worked with a team that is as capable and driven as this one. I'm loving my time at Kustomer and would highly recommend.

Cons

We're still in the scaling stages, bigger than a true startup, but smaller than the giants. This is a tough time to build, and it's not for everyone. You have to be willing to do what it take, work hard, think outside the box, and solve challenges yourself. We're at the place that requires startup grit and scaling process, not everyone has both!

Pros

- Smart, friendly coworkers - Lots of opportunity because people leave constantly. If you make it 6 months you'll probably be the most experienced person on your team. - Company appears to have money so is relatively stable for a startup

Cons

- By far the most turnover I've ever seen at a company. Part of this is the constant firings done in secret. But it's also from people quitting because of how bad this place is. - Arbitrarily set and unattainable deadlines. Everything is always code red and always urgent. - No work life balance - Platform and product is bad, but there's no time focused to fixing it because we're always pushing new AI slop projects - Negative future outlook for the company. Business is going downhill and the founders are grasping at straws to find something that sticks. - Engineering has a lot of issues, so we re-org to pretend they don't exist. - Leadership perpetuates a negative culture. Employees are afraid to speak up. Expect to be Slack deactivated if you do. - Lack of accountability from management - Low pay for the stress
