Pros
The things everyone hears about: flexible schedule (to an extant), 40% profit sharing, high starting wages.
Cons
They don’t like to competitively increase wages after you’ve been there for a year or more. They’ve added on so much to the kitchen that it’s impossible to get everything done. Some of the laziest and most condescending people get promotions. Busy stores are purposely kept understaffed, making it impossible to even get a bathroom break some shifts. Kitchens are purposely built without adequate space. The founder’s grandkids clearly don’t care about the bottom line worker anymore, they just want more and more and more and won’t stop expanding even though their current stores are woefully understaffed already. Multiple stores in every town means they’re now competing with themselves. Go home to disassociate for a few hours then go to bed instead of enjoying hobbies because work takes away your will to live.
