Shift work is difficult to maintain any other job or personal life. - Assistant Food Service Leader Kwik Trip Employee Review

Pros

A clean environment with clear goals and objectives.

Cons

Shift work (any time, anywhere), low pay (decent among competitors but not enough to maintain a living as a part-time co-worker), no/low benefits. I've been with the company for two years now and am still waiting to be "full-time" in order to receive benefits, decent hours. Only after a promotion that my Store Leader was reluctant to hire me to, am I now able to work a semi-regular work schedule.

Pros

Newer trucks and a fulling operating shop.

Cons

Company is very full of their own ego, any concerns get dismissed immediately as not to discredit themselves. Promotions happen through the "buddy" system and no job listings are officially posted for career advancement. Management constantly lies to get you in the door. Insurance is unbelievably expensive, highest cost I've ever seen.
