Pros

Colleagues were always helpful. Longstanding (much before pandemic) tradition of remote and flexible work environment. Great benefits. Many long-tenured employees. International projects are plentiful and opportunities to work with people from different countries are commonplace.

Cons

Management bounce back and forth between company structure and organizational design every few years, leading to frustration and wasted effort. Promotion may be difficult to achieve because of long tenures. New management is usually hired from outside. Agency-style workload can mean projects have very tight deadlines with high pressure for short bursts.

Excellent position if your able to work independently, supervisors are wonderful, you make your own schedule that works for you.

Cons

Very low pay which is disappointing.

Making your own work schedule.

Cons

I was shocked to find out that after years of loyal service I provided this company, none of my ex-supervisors who I had positive professional relations with were willing to fill out a reference sheet for me for a new job. This is of course, optional, but considering the professional departure and strong work ethic I maintained while working here I was quite disappointed. I tried to stay with the company through another position, but after the initial interview I was ghosted for months so I moved on. I guess when they say they’re there for you, they mean with the exception that you’re still working for them.
