Pros

- Opportunity to make a real, positive impact with a powerful, innovative product. - Fully remote / virtual set up, work from home with 100% autonomy. - Start-up vibes, always exciting and keeps you thinking. - Fun problems to be solved with really smart & diverse people. - GREAT benefits - esp for a smaller company. Company pays 100% of my healthcare, vision, dental + life insurance and short term disability. - New FTO (flex time off) = no more max hours = no more stress about running out of vacation or sick or personal time. - Leaders and HR are genuine people who care about people and are very accessible and easy to talk to. - New senior member on the exec team (President) that has a successful background in helping to rebuild companies. He seems very transparent & has a confidential forum where people can ask questions and share ideas or concerns. He answers those openly and publicly for all of us to see so very trusting. - Career development - always something to learn, they offer career workshops and a lot of on the job learning, cross-functional training opportunities, conferences, etc.

Cons

- We had a recent restructure that, naturally, has created some confusion and worry among some people. But it feels like that was a smart decision so should calm down soon once everyone settles back in. - If you are super social and thrive on more in-person work + not a fan of zoom meetings then this might be a challenging place. - Working across different time zones and now global customers = some possible odd working hours but not for all and only occasionally. - 100% virtual also comes with challenges around communication, relationships, knowledge sharing, etc but Slack is super helpful and there's a weekly company wide meeting where we get regular updates and celebrate anniversaries & big wins.

Pros

Coming to L7 has given me the chance to expand my career into tech, even though I never had a job title with "engineering" in it previous to joining the company. The idea at L7 is to acquire employees with a scientific background that can act as a liaison in explaining the tech to customers. If you can do that, and keep up with learning the software, you'll thrive. When I started I was worried about joining an industry with a cutthroat environment, where success is a zero sum game, and anything less than an 80 hour work week would be met with instant dismissal. But nothing could be further from the truth at L7. If you encounter a bug or design problem, it is never an issue to find someone willing to help out. Successes are shared, and a rising tide lifts all boats. And from what I've observed all employees enjoy an outstanding work-life balance. During my time I have worked in customer operations and engineering, so I can say with certainty that there is room for growth and mobility within L7. The of course, the company being a 100% remote environment has probably spoiled me for life from ever wanting a commuting job again.

Cons

Right this moment, the company is undergoing a transition from venture cap startup to turning the corner to self-sufficiency. This is going to present challenges, just like it would anywhere for any company. I would caution those here reading other reviews of the company to take that into account. I am not going to list benefits as cons, because all the details on that are clearly disclosed during the interviewing and offer process. I am unaware of any cuts to existing plans during the time I've been here.

Pros

mission, purpose, great people, excellent compensation & benefits, flexible work from home, career opportunities, unlimited PTO

Cons

Dysfunction at the C-level. CEO is also highly involved and influential member of the board, which can be a conflict of interest and result in poor decisions being made.
