Pros
Staff drinks on Friday afternoons.
Years prior, the team culture was great and Friday drinks were a happy and fun environemnt, but the company treated their staff so badly, that over time, the environment was too toxic. Eventually, it was only the free-loaders and management who would go to the drinks. Which just further emphasised the divide between management and non-management. Generally, the staff didn't want to spend any more time there than they had to.
Cons
*Management will work you as hard as possible until you have nothing left to give and you're burnt out and left with no reward. Then they'll throw you away once they've sucked everything out of you.
*You're shamed if you take time off or sick leave. You're shamed if you don't do overtime, every single day.
*Regularly told that we should be grateful to have jobs. But no gratitude was returned to the staff who were working incredibly hard to keep the business afloat.
*Very secretive environment and managers will try to manipulate their staff at every chance. Like a narcist, they'll try to convince the staff that they don't deserve better and shame them if they try to stand up for themselves.
*They pay under the average for your position
*There's no support for staff, no mentoring, no feedback or growth opportunities
