Pros

Excellent benefits, 401k, cheap cafeteria, free coffee.

Cons

Unfortumately, LG is a revolving door, leaving employee morale is extremely poor. The bright and talented staff are not promoted/rewarded, therefore they most often leave...forcing others to pick-up job responsibilities until replacement are brought in a trained. Job objectives are changed what seems like almost daily and deadlines are pretty extreme, forcing employees to work insane hours. For example, you'll get a sudden deadline passed down from senior management from Korea just before 5:00pm, and you must finish that night meaning you almost regularly work 12 hour shifts. Also, approximately 50% of the work population is Korean in the headquarters offices, so if you cannot deal with ultra-diversity...it's not for you.

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
