Less stressful than bedside. If work weekends can work from home. Slightly more flexibility than bedside nursing. Good way to get out of bedside nursing. Stepping stone to escaping bedside nursing. Position is also referred to as Clinical Supervisor in other locations
Cons
Salary position so company has loophole to evade laws against forced labor. When work holiday, no holiday pay rate. No extra money for working weekends. Forced overtime without compensation. However legal due to salary status, its illegal because it is unethical. Its unethical because there is no standards to prevent "how much is too much." Leaving employee unprotected and stuck betweena rock and a hard place
