1. ED has way too much say over sales with zero help when really needed
2. You can’t grow without staff. I was expected to grow a territory with zero clinicians in the area.
3. The ED and office manager are besties and constantly would cover for each other. Our office was left without a nurse in house (against LHC policy) and the non clinical office manager made clinical decisions.
4. The lack of communication between the office staff/field staff/intake and sales was to the detriment of the company.
4. It’s easy to blame sales for lack of growth when operations can manipulate budget numbers.
5. Operations could use a refresher on CMS guidelines. A patient starting dialysis doesn’t remove home bound status. That shouldn’t even be a fight sales has to have.
