Pros

Flexibility to work remotely. Accessible office location. Some of the people that work there.

Cons

A new era started at LIS when the new COO was hired, he came in with an agenda to remove all tenured employees as well as women, Hispanic employees, and anyone that did not fit his "profile". It did not matter how much work you put into this organization, the goal was one to kick everyone out and build a new team from scratch. There is no loyalty from the CEO or President, they walk around like deer and headlights with no idea of what is going on, There is a ton of decisions being made in the dark, and employees are never informed of the changes. The upside for anyone applying and reading this review is that if you worked for Mission Essential (MEP) in the past you will get hired. We could rebrand this company to MEP 2.0 At some point, this was a great place to work. It had diversity which makes sense given it's a language company. I could go on for months on cons. If you are a professional looking to grow this is not the place for you, if you are from a diverse background this is not the place for you.

Pros

The culture is fantastic and collaborative. My colleagues are genuinely great people. I've had the opportunity to learn a lot and develop new skills, and the company offers good opportunities for career growth. While the work can be challenging at times, the overall experience has been very positive. I appreciate the work-life balance and the flexibility offered by the company.

Cons

It was challenging at times finding quality support.
