Pros

You will learn how to do tasks well (SDTM, ADaM, TFLs, possibly Define.xml, etc). You may have the opportunity to communicate with clients early on in your position as well which is also useful experience. The coffee and tea in the kitchen are good. HR is helpful.

Cons

A lot is expected here out of you from Day 1. It will give you good experience and make you knowledgeable, but it is also very demanding and stressful. The expectations are very high for entry level employees. Although it may be necessary to work here to gain initial experience, this is not a good place to stay long term. Things go differently for each individual depending on their team/manager, but the longer you work there, the more the job will take over your life. Rarely can work stay within 40 hours once you have been there for a little while. In fact, it is expected for you to put work first (before anything else in your life). If you don't set boundaries, you will be asked to complete tasks outside of work hours. Not just tasks that you didn't finish on time, but also tasks that people want you to do to help them finish their deliveries. It is also encouraged to work over your vacation time. Communication is not established to be done in a positive manner either in the company culture. You will get good initial experience here which will prepare you to succeed at another company; a company where you will be allowed to have 40 hour work weeks and a culture with positive communication amongst team members.
